Gem Tool
anyone out there make hand made jewelry? if so can you help me?
I have loads of gemstone chips.
I was wondering what tool would I need
to make a small hole to threat though string in order to make
a necklace and some bracelets?
the chips are rather small but I saw a necklace on ebay with
gemstone chips way smaller than what I have. I just would
like to do something with these pieces and just need to
know what will make a hole small enough for fine string
and not mess with the natural beauty of the gems.

A Dremel Tool with a proper size drill bit can work wonders for u. you would also need a clamp for your safety as well. A Dremel Drill Press Station can make it easier for you to keep your holes centered. The dremel tool may cost a lot but it's an investment. hope this helps.
