Has anyone heard of liquid gold allergy test and treatment?
My Pekingese has horrible allergies that we have struggled to understand the cause. We made food tests, tests of allergens, no matter what the vet suggested. Our last visit, she told us about a new allergy test that can supposedly identify the irritants in the blood of the dog, then Through a series of treatments to help dogs develop immunity. It's called liquid gold. I wonder if anyone has heard or used. If you have, how much was that? How was the experience at all?
No, I have not heard of this test and our office works closely with a wonderful dermatologist. Since you said the test is new, I'm still skeptical! I want to wait that tests are a year or two, then do research to determine if it is something I'd be interested in my dog. At your veterinarian as defined you to a specialist (dermatologist)? That would be something I would recommend you look into. I wish you good luck!
