Question about NOXG2 Night Owl Optics Night Vision not working?

I think it was damaged from the lens cap being taken off in the light (not sunlight but in a lit house). The person who gave it to me was trying to figure out how to work it-it didn't work-then after reading directions & watching video it tells you not to use in light-so that's why I think it doesn't work. Does that sound like the reason it won't work to you- it was brand new, never wet or dropped or anything like that. If so any estimates on how much to repair? It retails for about $1000 & has never been used.

You should call Night Owl Optics and ask for a warranty repair.
I don't think indoor light will do much damage if any. Direct sunlight will cause serious damage.
