Needle Hand
The needle and the hand wheel on my Singer Esteem II will not turn?
I recently bought this machine, and while working on my first big project with it the needle started to slow down and then stopped (the machine was still on, the pedal is still connected, and it isn't overheated). When I removed the fabric it didn't look like any thread was jammed or anything so I removed the bobbin and the thread and tried to just dust off any loose thread or shards of fabric. When I try to turn the hand wheel it will turn VERY slowly but requires a lot of force to turn. It had been working fine all day, and stopped working suddenly. I would really appreciate any ideas on what is wrong!
