Why eye round steaks slightly neon color before cooking?
I usually buy eye round steaks for I eat all day, and it seems they have a brilliant light green area on them. I just buy them so I do not think they are bad. Is it common for raw meat?
It should not be on raw meat, I expect to see on cooked meats. I do not know many people who would cook several times a day as you suggest. It will certainly be rare if it is off.
