Dremel What should I buy for my husband?
I did some research on the Dremel tool and there seems to be several. He had the model base a couple of years, but he got lost. He liked, but he just used to small things because he said the engine was not powerful enough to do much more. Now it seems they have new models and I can not understand what one to buy. Some have variable speed, wired or wireless, routers, saws and something flexible or others! I do not know which one to buy. My husband is an engineer and likes to fix things. Can someone please tell me why I should buy? Thank you.
I have a Dremel tool. I would not trade for anything. the two things that are really needed are flexible shaft and variable speed. Mine is a corded model and works very well. If he will use it in the store most of the time, then the wireless model is not really necessary. If he will use it in the house made other plans, then the wireless phone could be fun. They also have kits of bits for different types of projects that could be wood carving or engraving on glass. Dremel has generally a nice display set up that shows what the different bits are for.
