Touch Beading

How do I know when my eyebrow piercing is done healing?

So I've had my eyebrow pierced for just over 4 weeks now. I'm still doing sea salt soaks and stuff on it, just to make sure. and it still hurts a teensy (yes I DID say teensy) bit when I touch it or it gets tugged on a bit. Which makes it painful to put in a captive bead ring.

How am I 100% sure when it's healed completely?

Generally eyebrow piercings take at least 6 to 8 weeks to heal, so you have some time. When it is completely healed it shouldn't hurt anymore and there should be no swelling, redness or irritation. Generally, with most types of piercings you'll know it's healed when it starts to produce small amounts of sebum (a natural skin oil). You'll know it's at this stage when you rub it and your finger stinks like you wouldn't believe. Just continue with your daily cleansing ritual and watch it carefully. You should be able to tell when it's healed enough to support a ring change and such.
